I haven’t posted on This blog for a long long time :-( alot has
been happening and I’ve had alot of posts lined up but just have been lazy
getting them uploaded. So today there will be alot of content getting thrown up
here. And I hope to continue this blog on because next year when the
traveling begins this will be my main communication.
Earlier in the
year a group of us headed down to Christchurch for a project. I hadn’t been
down there since the disasters and it was horrible to see its destruction.
The place is horrible and quite depressing though its incredible to see people
keeping their spirits alive in this time. It seems odd that a place so close to
us seems so far away. It was traveling to another country.
We spent a few hours in the town centre before driving over to
Hokitika to view our actual site for the project. I designed a beach house that
I believe was one of my best pieces of work.
