After arriving in St Lucia late in the afternoon, we decided to get a quick dinner and hit the hay, the next morning we headed off to go on a game drive, expecting to see nothing we drove through the reserve in Tinny the POS van we had in the hot sun.
As we were driving along trying to catch a glimpse of anything moving in the bush, Sarah from the back said "Go back theres a Rhino in the bush!" Ha! yea right, we aint gona see no rhino, low and behold, this beautifully gracious extremely endangered black rhino made his way through the shrubs and trees toward the side of the road where we sat gob smacked staring.
The black rhino made his way until he was almost 15m from our car, I realised that either way if he wanted to charge us that 2 foot long spike could easily flip our tin can with wheels, So I opened the door keeping on leg in just incase to try and catch some shots of this beauty.
What an absolutely incredible day, and we survived to post the photos, Definitely one of the highlights.
