Due to our early shark cage dive being canceled we had to head back to Gansbaai for round two! and what a day it was! the most incredible sunrise to date as we arrive to our location. I swear after this I will never want to drive again!

We arrived at around 5am with no idea what was installed for us. We met our guide who looked and acted exactly like Len (Amys dad) we headed on the water with around 15 others, mainly australians, and some americans. We headed out on a boat trip around 20min away and anchored up. A huge rolling swell set the boat into a very constant sea sickening roll. However we were ready to roll. As with every post i keep saying words cannot describe the awesomeness of what was actually happening and the photos struggle to do it justice as well.

During the three or so hours we spent out there we managed to attract around 6 sharks each ranging from 2.5-3.5m long. I managed to jump in the cage three different times and Amy got in twice. The water was cold and the visibility was low so the actual best spot to watch was on the boat, however nothing could replace being face to face to the most awesome predator on the planet.

At one point, my second stint in the cage, we had a young male find the floating tuna heads a little too interesting. the tuna heads are attached to a line that the guide throws in the water and pulls towards the cage as the shark comes near, making the shark charge at the cage, most of the sharks just ignore these fast swimming body less tuna however the one bellow thought it should be meal time, instead he ended up jaws deep in steal cage and not tuna faces!

I was sitting in the middle of the cage and heard a huge crash, turned around and managed to snap a quick photo, one guy had a shark face right his face! absolutely unreal!
