Day 3? What ever we are up to.. today was Monkey Day. Oh wait.. we went to a bird park, today was Bird Day!
After the insanely early start we headed off around the coast to Chapman's Peak, a road carved out from the hillside. The weather finally showing some sun, add a grad filter to the 14mm and BAM! photos. nice.
This drive lead us around to the World of Birds... and Monkeys. A little run down but still all there this world was as the name describes full of birds. The most incredible colours, shapes and sizes I have ever seen. If you could hang out in the park down the road and see these amazing birds I might actually take up bird watching!
Oh I almost forgot, Monkeys! these little things were everywhere! a whole inclosure full of thieving little tail swinging primates. One opened my bag using the zipper only to find to his disappointment a 43 year old olympus film camera.
