We finished the workshop on Friday with presentations in the underground graffiti filled car park. The setting will make for some very nice photos, but it made for some terrible presentations. Bad acoustics and sitting in a carpark in the cold for 5 hours wasn't ideal!! About mid week through the project Alex, Kasper and I decided we needed to go on a site visit.. With all things in Denmark one should only go on a site visit with beer in hand. Was a stunning afternoon so no complaints here!!!
The workshop wrapped up thursday night with presentations on friday. We produced a 1m x 1m 1:500 scale model of 'Aarhus M' our waterfront project that developed into utilizing houseboats in the Aarhus waterfront. We also produced a 2 min short video explaining our concept. There was a huge diverse range through the 4 different workshops with each tutor adopting a different take on the brief. Overall it was an intense but fun 10 days and I am happy with the work I produced!
In other news! on thursday I found out I got into Studio M.A.D. There are 10 different studios in the masters programme at AAA. You choose your top three in order. I was very happy to get my first choice! so yea starting at 9.15 tomorrow my entire next semester is M.A.D.
