I briefly calculated how many weeks I have left in my masters degree. I thought I should do a small recap every sunday on the goings on of the past week, mainly for my own review. Sorry people but these updates will only be about architecture, so feel free to ignore them. I will continue my usually crappy photos combined with shit talk in between.

So week 1! first of all it is now monday night and not sunday so I missed my first weekly update! haha. typical.
The first week has been interesting! at AAA (Aarhus Architecture School) each year starts with a start up workshop. A super cool idea of getting all the masters students together and doing a week long intensive group project. Its been an awesome way to get to know lots of people!
In my workshop we are working on how Aarhus is going to house its growing population. We are working on housing 75,000 extra people!!!!
Our scheme is about creating an incredible/beautiful place to live by the sea. Currently in Aarhus there are a series of buildings down at the waterfront that are all in the range of 10-12 stories, we are really pushing for the human scale of 1-5 stories, with Venice and Amsterdam as a reference. We have this awesome tutor, Marieke, from Rotterdam. She has her own office of 15 people. Its really awesome working on such a different scale to what I was doing back in AK but Im seriously struggling to get my head around it! anyway, there are probably too many words in this post to keep you all interested so ill leave it there for now!
PS. the images above have nothing todo with my project, just a sweet instalation I found out the back of the School. Peace!!
