We jumped on the train at 8am and headed to Venice. This early train ride was actually quite easy considering the jet lag had us up at 4.30am anyway. One thing I found most interesting about Italy in the first few moments there is how every photo I took wanted to be in portrait. Venice is an incredible place. there isn't much you have to do apart from spending your days lost amongst its beauty. It truly is a magical place, I recommend finding a magical person to take with you. Head to venice without a map and see where the day takes you. That, and enjoy when you find a place in venice without people. they are few and far between.
