Back to NZ!

There have been no updates on here for about a month due to my mother deciding to have her birthday in ITALY! Amy and I just flew back in yesterday morning from Florence, after spending the last 3 weeks traveling around Italy.

As soon as I arrived I had one thing at the top of the list that I had to get done. Check on my Datsun down at Woodhead auto. As soon as I turned up Blair gave me the good and bad news on the car. The good: Its all fixed, with a certification and all the paperwork ready to get a registration. The bad: They found a bit more rust than expected once they started pulling panels back, the figure was a bit higher than expected.

I was worried, but as soon as I drove the car out of his garage and down the street I completely forgot about the conversation of money. This car puts the biggest smile on my face everytime I drive it. The long process of importing my late Grandfather's Datsun 240z from San Diego, California to Auckland, New Zealand is finally complete! Now I just get to drive it :-)

Over the coming weeks I will be editing uploading and writing about the last few weeks from my travels. So stay tuned for some photos from abroad! for now though here is some eye candy from this mornings drive on the way back from the ANZAC dawn parade down at the museum.
