The Garden Route Begins..

First stop.. Gansbaai, the great white shark capital of the world. However, continuing the terrible weather trend our shark dive was canceled. So all I ended up with was a shity picture of a thatched roof.

We then moved on to Oudtshoorn, this is where we got our first glimpse into what africa was about.. but more on that later.

We stayed in an awesome cottage in the centre of Oudtshoorn, it was so cool they had sticks in the lights, tables on wheels, and bamboo shaped concrete ceilings. If you ever find your self in Oudsthoorn check out the Karoo reatreat, for 15 dollars a night you cannot complain.
