Damn. With a €789 million build cost, even at a 2% fee Herzog & de Meuron would be making a cheeky 15.8 mil. Not a bad paycheck for a curvy piece of glass above an old warehouse. I don't personally like it, but it is incredible to be able to travel a few hours on the train and see pieces of architecture that we in New Zealand only get to experience via the internet.
